I would really like if you sold the dice later on.

I am also hoping for an alternate color. Perhaps a black or a brown with silver markings?

Not outside the realm of possibility, for sure. I think we'll get Unwritten out there before we add anything else on our plate, but the gang at CustomDice were wonderful to work with, I'm betting we coould come up with something.

I agree. Maybe with a matching dice bag? Or any dice bag? I think that would be nice.

Well, working with CustomDice had been awesome.

When it was pointed out that the linkbook panel was in the wrong place, I contacted them and let them know. I then sent them a corrected graphic file , with the book rotated, and the link panel in the upper right hand corner.

What they sent 750 of, was the book not rotated, and the link panel in the bottom left hand corner.

I contacted them right away, to see what happened- this is the response I got:

Quote:
Glad to see you received the dice. Somewhere in this email chain you had talked about re orienting the book, so I did do that. I moved the little Square in the book to the outside per your request. It sounds like you wanted the entire book rotated. So, these dice should look a little different from the original prototypes. I did send you some extras, so you should be happy about that. Hopefully , they will work out for you. I thought they turned out looking great!

So not only did they not use the corrected graphic, we should be "happy" that we got extra incorrect dice.

oh, and that Axial Zero y'all were happy with?

Quote:
I think the minus and plus signs should be on opposite sides. I went ahead and made them per the graphic submitted, but that may be a flaw you want to fix if you decide to make more in the future.

Yeah, let's be glad they didn't try to 'fix' that, too.

The bottom line is...the dice do look good. And it is possible to visualize the link panel as being on the upper right hand side. But for perfectionists and purists (and disgruntled graphic designers, grrrr), it's going to look off.

I'm sorry about this. I'm really frustrated and upset at how this went down, and that I can't fix it :(

We talked to customer service, and everything has been resolved neatly, so redone dice will be on their way in a couple of weeks. Yay!

Ooo! Now all the incorrectly made ones can suddenly become EXORBITANTLY overpriced collector items!! Lol

Post subject:  Re: 'Corrected' dice

This is in reply to the final notes on the Dice thread, regarding getting some corrections made on the die you had ordered as a stretch goal, and somewhat relates to the above note (but hopefully the price wouldn't be _that_ high), if you do have extras due to this, is it possible to purchase a pair of them?

Thanks!
